Saturday August 23

Aug 22-24 Friend's & Needles Guild Guild Annual Quilt Show "Mother Earth and Her Seasons" will be held at the Houlton Elk's Lodge on Main St. Fri. and Sat. 10:00 am - 4:00 pm and  Sun. 12:00 - 4:00 pm. Admission is $4 at the door. Several vendors will be open during the show to offer fabrics , machines, books and quilting notions. Special quest Sieglinde Shoen-Smith will showcase heer prize winning quilt. A Mini-Quilt Silent Auction will be held and raffle tickets will be on sale for $1 or 6/$5 on their 2008 Raffle Quilt Kaleidoscope Blues. Aug 23-24   North Country Cruisers Car Show – Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum US Route 1 in Littleton 9:00 am – 2:00 pm Free Admission-Door Prizes-Food-Fun-Games-JD. 21 Classes of cars on display. Sat. at 2:00 go for Car Cruise.

Road Rally - will start and end at Community Park. Start time 10:00 am. For more information call the Chamber Office 532-4216.

Mr. Potato Head Decorating Contest for ages 10 and under. Use a real potato and your creativity to create Mr. Potato Head and bring him to the Chamber of Commerce Booth in Monument Park by Cary Library, 11:00 am

Potato Salad Contest - Bring your favorite Potato Salad in a disposable container to the Chamber of Commerce Booth in Monument Park by Cary Library, 12:00 pm. For more information call the Chamber Office 532-4216.
